TSL launch's Cheers to the Coast Passport Program

Tourism Sarnia-Lambton (TSL) has launched its Cheers to the Coast Passport Program.

The initiative aims to showcase over a dozen craft beverage producers across Lambton County.

"We just want to encourage everyone to go out and discover all the amazing craft beverage producers that we have in Lambton County. Whether it's your first time to one of them or it's a return visit, there's always something new to experience," said TSL Interim Executive Director Adam Veen.

Participants can pick up a passport at any of the 14 participating locations; the more places you visit, the more prizes you can win.

"They just have to stop into one of the locations in Lambton County. All of them have passports available. You make a purchase and collect your first stamp and your passport, and then from there you can travel around the county and visit each location, collect your stamp, and then you get rewarded at certain points as you fill your card up," said Veen

The 14 Cheers to the Coast locations are Two Water Brewing Co, Imperial City Brewhouse, River Run Brew Co, Refined Fool Brewing Co, Point Brewing Company, Black Gold Brewery, Munro Honey & Meadery, Alton Farms Estate Winery, Stonepicker Brewing Company, Widder Station Bar & Grill, Shale Ridge Estate Winery, Twin Pines Orchards, Grand Bend Stirling Sands Vineyards, and Torched Brewing Company.

"This is going to go on while supplies last, so we didn't put an end date on it. If it picks up and gets momentum, we'll extend the program. So we just want to give a little bit of extra support to our craft beverage industry, and so it's going to be an ongoing program for right now. And we'll see how long it lasts. Hopefully, into the Christmas season."

Participants who complete their passport will receive a $10 TSL gift certificate that can be used at more than 200 local businesses.
