Four players from the Lambton Jr. Sting 'AAA' program were selected by OHL teams in the last week.
A pair were picked Saturday during the OHL's annual Minor Midget draft, and two more were drafted Wednesday night as part of the league's inaugural Under-18 Priority Selection.
Defenceman Alec Trusler, from Sarnia, was taken 31st overall by Kingston in Wednesday's draft, while Watford's Cameron Rombouts was selected 68th overall by Sarnia. Both were members of the Jr Sting Major Midget team.
Rombouts was second in team scoring with 15 goals and 31 points in 34 games. Trusler had nine points from the blueline in 34 games.
The Sarnia Sting picked Anthony Romano eighth overall out of the Toronto Jr Canadiens.
Goaltender Andrew MacLean, from Port Huron, was selected by Own Sound Saturday in the tenth round of Saturday's draft. Sarnia's Nolan DeGurse was selected in the 13th round by his hometown Sarnia Sting.
MacLean was in neat for all six of Lambton's win this season, posting a shutout in his 25 starts. DeGurse led the team in scoring with 13 goals and 25 points in 33 games, he also suiting up in a pair of games with the GOJHL's Sarnia Legionnaires.
