A fire at a commercial building in Comber has prompted an investigation after the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) deemed the fire suspicious.
At around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Essex County OPP and the Lakeshore fire department responded to the blaze on Industrial Road.
According to police, no injuries were reported.
The fire remains under investigation by the OPP Crime Unit, with the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall helping.
Police have not said how much damage was caused, if any.
Investigators are asking nearby businesses to review surveillance near the time of the incident and report any suspicious activity. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Essex OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
