Windsor fire crews were on the move all morning Friday battling three separate residential fires across the city.
Faulty wiring in the attic gets the blame for the fire on Dougall Ave.
The fire at 820 Dougall Ave. broke out around 7:30am.
No one was injured in the blaze but six people have been displaced from their home.
The fire caused an estimated $250,000 in damage.
About seven minutes away, a father and daughter have been rescued following a fire in their home just hours before.
Windsor fire crews arrived at 890 Moy Ave. to find heavy smoke and fire at around 6am.
The blaze started on the second floor front bedroom of the two-storey duplex. Fire officials say it was caused by a faulty space heater cord.
Both residents are being treated with minor smoke inhalation. The daughter has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
The fire caused $70,000 in damage.
Unattended cooking is blamed for a fire at an apartment building in the 100-block of Bruce Ave. in Windsor.
Started around 2am Friday in the kitchen of a unit on the third floor and caused heavy smoke on the third floor. It was out an hour later.
Fire officials say it caused $60,000 damage.
No one was hurt but one tenant is displaced.
