Police Charge One, Looking For Another After Man Stabbed

A Windsor man has now been charged after another man was robbed and stabbed in his home.

The Windsor Police Service says on Sunday around 7am, a man attended a residence on Louis Ave. near University Ave. E., and was given permission to enter the home to speak with the residents.  Another man, with his face covered with a bandanna, quickly rushed into the home as well, and one of the homeowners was threatened with a knife.

The 47-year-old victim was assaulted and stabbed during the incident. He was taken to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries.

Police say the man wearing the bandanna was known to one of the residents.

The same morning, one of the suspects was arrested on Glengarry Ave. near Assumption St.  Vincent Harris, 52, of Windsor has been charged with aggravated assault, using a disguise in commission of indictable offence, assault with a weapon, and robbery.

Police are still looking for another suspect who is described as a black male, 25-29 years old, 6'0', with  slender build, and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a brown velvet coat with fur around the collar and wrists, as well as black boots.
