Two Turn Themselves In After St. Patrick's Day Fight

Two people have been arrested and charged after a fight at a St. Patrick's Day party that got out of hand.

Windsor police were called to a home on Ford Blvd. near South National St. early Saturday morning for a fight.

Police say two people came to the home and confronted a group of people at the party. The confrontation led to a fight on the front lawn. During the fight, people at the party held down one of the suspects on the lawn. The second suspect retrieved a long-gun from a vehicle. He struck someone with the gun and the pair went back into the home.

They allegedly forced their way into the home smashing the front window and door panel. They made several threats at gunpoint and assaulted several people.

They were last seen leaving the area in a dark vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the suspects Saturday.

Three victims were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

On Monday morning, the two suspects arrived at police headquarters downtown and were placed under arrest.
