The Kiwanis Sunshine Point Camp in Harrow is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the club this weekend, and a couple of big donations.
It received a $100,000 donation last month to help pay for new cabins and a new pavilion.
The Soclz Family Foundation has made another $150,000 donation. It will get exclusive naming rights for the camp.
Atlas Tube and it's owner, Barry Zekelman have kicked in another $50,000 each, and the remaining $50,000 is from the Lisa & Brian Schwab Foundation.
An official dedication ceremony is planned for Saturday.
"We are so fortunate to be able to dedicate the cabins and pavilion at our Realtors Giving Back Gala, and at the same time, celebrate our centennial," said Tina Gatt, President of the Kiwanis Club of Windsor. "We have a tremendously giving community, always ready to stand up for kids."
The camp opened after World War Two with the mandate to give all economically-disadvantaged children in Windsor-Essex the opportunity to attend summer camp.
