UPDATE: Windsor police release photo of theft suspect (PHOTO)

Windsor Police Service's financial crimes unit is still investigating a "distraction" style theft and needs help identifying the suspect.

According to police, the incident happened on Tuesday around 12 p.m. at a business on Dougall Avenue, just south of West Grand Boulevard. While sitting in her car after leaving the establishment, an elderly woman was approached by a man who told her that she had dropped money. The man reached into the car to give the woman the money, and it's believed during that time, he was able to swipe the woman's bank card.

The victim later noticed the bank card missing and reported it to her banking institution. It was determined that a quantity of money was fraudulently withdrawn from her account.
