The Ontario Provincial Police are hoping the public can help identify a bicyclist injured in a Lakeshore crash.
It happened shortly after 11 a.m. on Tuesday on Ross Beach Road, off Strong Road. Two cyclists were using the bike path when they collided, according to Constable Jim Root.
One of the riders suffered minor injuries, but the other was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police are trying to identify the latter bicyclist.
The rider is described as a white male, between 65 and 75 years old, 5' 6" to 5' 8", and weighing about 130 pounds. He has short grey hair and blue eyes, and a tattoo on his right forearm. The OPP tweeted on Wednesday afternoon photos of the bicycle and the gear the victim was using at the time of the collision.
He was wearing a blue-and-white Garneau cycling jersey, black Sugoi cycling shorts, and hearing aids, with a black clip on his cycling shoes. The cyclist was riding a dark grey Giant Defy bicycle with a grey Giro helmet.

Anyone who can identify the rider is urged to call the OPP's provincial communications centre at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
