LaSalle police deputy chief announces retirement

After 35 years in policing, LaSalle Deputy Chief Kevin Beaudoin has announced his retirement.

Beaudoin began his career with the Windsor Police Service in 1986 before joining the former Sandwich West Police force in 1989 which then became the LaSalle Police Service in 1991.

"I have been extremely blessed and honoured to serve the great citizens of LaSalle which was my home for most of my life," Beaudoin said. "There is simply no greater honour than to serve your community. I am proud to have worked with some of the finest and most dedicated law enforcement professionals in the country."

During his tenure, he served in several areas including Marine Patrol and Criminal Investigations Division and Administration. Beaudoin was appointed as Deputy Chief in 2019. He is well known for his commitment and involvement with the community and for delivering the VIP program in local schools for over 20 years.

Beaudoin's last day with LaSalle police is March 26.
