Caesars concert series to benefit Hospice Windsor and Essex County

Proceeds from this year's Concert for A Cure Series at Caesars Windsor will go toward programming at Hospice Windsor and Essex County.

A portion of ticket sales from all shows in October and November will be donated to Hospice to help establish programming for the greenhouse recently installed at the Hospice's Windsor campus.

The programming will be geared towards patients and families and could include tending to plants, wreath making and children's activities.

"Having something that supports not just the physical concerns and symptoms of our patients but also the emotional and spiritual. Giving a space of calm here on our residence is amazing and I'm looking forward to seeing all the wonderful programs that are going to develop from this," said Dr. Sheri Bergeron, palliative care physician.

A portion of sales from tickets to Dirty Dancing in Concert (October 13), Nick Offerman (October 19), The Vampire Circus (October 26), Derek Hough (October 27), Tiffany Haddish (November 2), Howie Mandel (November 4), John Mulaney and Pete Davidson (November 10), Penn & Teller (November 16), Brett Young (November 18), and Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland (November 29 & November 30) will all go toward the cause.

"Starting off with a sold-out show last Saturday, really we're off to a great start and we have some other big headline names through the month of October and November. We expect to have really good results," said Tim Trombley, director of entertainment at Caesars Windsor.
