Windsor police are looking for three people connected to a series of carjackings and attempted carjackings from the weekend.
Over a 24-hour period, there were four reported incidents of someone trying to take a vehicle by force. In all cases, someone came up to the driver's side window, assaulted the driver, and tried to take the vehicle. They were successful in two of those incidents.
The cases were reported at the following times and locations.
Tecumseh Road East and McDougall Street at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Tuscarora and McDougall Streets at 5 a.m.
Lincoln Road at Somme Avenue at 6 a.m.
Holburn and McGuire Streets at 3 a.m. on Sunday.
In three of the incidents, the victim was sprayed in the face with a noxious substance.
Police have released video footage of three men emerging from an SUV believed to have been used in the attacks. The grey Dodge Grand Caravan was reported stolen on Wednesday, November 1, and it was involved in a minor hit-and-run incident Friday in a parking lot on Ottawa Street at Parent Avenue.
