Windsor police seek more retail fraud suspects (PHOTOS)

Windsor police have again asked for tips regarding a series of shoplifting incidents.

Few details have been released, but police on Wednesday identified four people suspected of stealing from businesses within the city.

Four were originally shown, but police reported Wednesday afternoon that one of the suspects had been identified.

All were caught on surveillance camera allegedly taking items without paying for them.

Local law enforcement had recently stepped up arrests for people accused of shoplifting, particularly during the holiday season. Last week, the OPP announced that it had arrested nine people on 24 charges during a blitz in mid-December.

If you recognize any of the people in the photos, you are asked to contact the Windsor police's patrol support unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4000. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
