Residents and property owners in the City of Windsor may have already received an important piece of mail.
The City has mailed out the interim tax bills for 2024.
Due dates for regular tax payments are February 14, March 13, and April 17. Payment must be received by the City on or before the dates.
Payments are accepted through banking institutions. If you have your payments set up through a bank account or mortgage, you will receive a notice for your records and will not have to take additional action.
Tax payments may also be made through telephone or online banking, or in person via cheque only at the first-floor dropbox at 350 City Hall Square West.
The City also offers three pre-authorized payment plans, for which enrollment can be completed at any time.
If you are having difficulty keeping up with your payments, the City has strongly encouraged you to find lower-cost financing, which are available through many banks and credit unions. The City also offers a tax relief program, a tax repayment program, and a tax deferral program. Complete details can be found on the City's official website.
If you have not received your interim tax bill, or if you have a question about it, call 311 or use the 311 app.
