Teen facing charges for robbery, again

A 15-year-old is facing robbery charges for the second time this month.

Around 4 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a robbery on Raymo Road. Officers say a teen took a cab to the location and then pointed a firearm at the driver when it was time to pay the fare.

The suspect took off on foot towards Westminister Boulevard.

Officers tracked down the suspect at a home on Westminister Boulevard a short time later. Inside the suspect's backpack officers recovered a replica pellet handgun, a baton taser, and a Molotov cocktail.

The suspect was charged with robbery with an offensive weapon, pointing a firearm, wearing a disguise with intent, possession of explosive material, possession of incendiary material for arson, possession of a prohibited weapon and failure to comply with a release order.

The same suspect was arrested and charged in connection to a robbery in downtown Windsor earlier this month.
