A 36-year-old man on bail for drug trafficking, theft, and multiple firearm-related offences now faces new charges for removing his GPS monitor, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.
Tristan Henderson-Tymczak was granted bail in March for 17 charges. His bail conditions included wearing a GPS-monitoring ankle bracelet.
Windsor Police say he allegedly removed his monitor on June 25.
Windsor Police bail compliance officers and members of the OPP-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad arrested him on Tuesday at a home on Reginald Street between Ferndale Avenue and Ford Street.
Now Henderson-Tymczak is charged with uttering threats to cause bodily harm, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, and failing to comply with a release order.
Windsor Police say the public can report an individual not complying with their release conditions by calling 519-255-6700, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or leaving a tip at www.catchcrooks.com.
