OPP lay impaired driving charges after Lakeshore crash

The Ontario Provincial Police has charged a 35-year-old Lakeshore man with impaired driving after a crash late Tuesday night.

Officers were called to Elmstead Road in Lakeshore before midnight after a single-vehicle crash.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Lakeshore detachment.

The suspect is now charged with the operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs and having a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit.

No one was hurt in the crash, but police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
