Windsor West MP Brian Masse is in Washington D.C. for meetings with American lawmakers.
He's the vice-chair of the Canada-United States Inter-Parliamentary Group, but during his visit, he will also participate in other events related to his portfolio as the border critic for the federal NDP.
On Tuesday, Masse will host a live telephone town hall from Washington to hear from residents in his riding about current issues, including the threat of American tariffs, border security, and cross-border relations.
Constituents should get a text or call from Masse inviting them to join in the town hall. Those who want to join on their own can also call 1-877-229-8493. The passcode is 117277.
The town hall starts at 7 p.m.
Masse will deliver opening remarks Thursday morning at the Great Lakes Congressional Breakfast.
Following that event, he'll attend the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Conference hosted by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. The conference will explore the issues of economic security and trade relations, defence spending, national security, natural resources, energy and border management.
Masse returns on March 7.
