Motorcycle crash in CK leaves Leamington man seriously injured

A 38-year-old Leamington man was left critically injured after crashing his motorcycle in Chatham-Kent.

At around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, emergency services were called to River Line between Communication Road and Harwich Road for a reported single-vehicle collision.

They found the driver of a motorcycle suffering from life threatening injuries. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance before being transferred to the Windsor Regional Hospital.

A section of River Line was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
