Open Streets is back.
The City of Windsor plans to transform eight kilometres of roadway into a car-free playground for residents to walk, skate, bike, and participate in a whole raft of fun activities.
The event will take place on September 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The route, stretching from Sandwich Towne to Ford City, will feature eight hubs of activity that promote health, physical activity, arts, culture, heritage, and diversity.

"Events like Open Streets Windsor are vital to our community because they bring people together in meaningful ways," said Ward 3 City Councillor Renaldo Agostino. "They create opportunities for residents and businesses to connect, for families to explore and experience what the community has to offer. That sense of connection and vibrancy is key to revitalizing our city."
