One suspect arrest, warrant issued for second after $100K theft

Windsor Police are looking for a 36-year-old man after approximately $100,000 worth of goods were stolen from a business on Sydney Avenue earlier this month.

Police say just after 1 a.m. on October 12, two men arrived in separate vehicles and broke in through the roof of the business. Minutes later, they removed several boxes of UGG shoes.

The men returned three hours later and took more boxes from the business.

Police obtained video evidence of the break-in and were able to identify two suspects.

The Windsor Police Service Target Base Unit arrested a 42-year-old man on Northway Avenue last Wednesday.

Now, police have issued an arrest warrant for 36-year-old Kevin Leo Best.

Police are still looking for the stolen merchandise.

Anyone who may know where it is, or where Best is, can call the Target Base Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or go to www.catchcrooks.com.
