A Windsor man with a history of firearm and drug trafficking convictions has been arrested for the second time in three months for allegedly breaching his bail conditions.
The 29-year-old was convicted in March 2023 for possession of a firearm, possession of a restricted firearm without a licence, assault, and failing to comply with a non-communication order.
As part of his sentence, he was prohibited from possessing weapons.
Despite those conditions, he was granted bail in October 2024 on a new set of charges, including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, three counts of breaching probation, and failure to comply with a release order.
His release required him to live with his surety, remain under house arrest, and wear an electronic monitoring device.
Bail compliance officers discovered he had violated several of those conditions.
On September 4, 2025, officers arrested the man on Howard Avenue, where they found a concealed knife on him.
He was charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order and one count of breaching probation. His surety was also charged with facilitating a breach of a release order.
The man was released again on new conditions, he was granted bail on October 20.
A second investigation in November uncovered more alleged breaches.
On November 20, bail compliance officers arrested the man on Jefferson Boulevard.
He has now been charged with two additional counts of failing to comply with a release order.
The arrests were carried out by the Offender Management Unit, a joint initiative between Windsor and LaSalle police that supervises high-risk individuals subject to house arrest, curfews, and electronic monitoring.
