The City of Windsor closed some outdoor facilities on Monday because of high winds.
The City Hall Square Skating Rink is closed. The rink will be re-assessed before it can be reopened.
Lanspeary Outdoor Rink is also closed. All rentals will be relocated to Adie Knox Herman Arena. Public skating from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. will also move to Adie Knox Herman Arena.
Bright Lights Windsor will also be closed Monday night. The event space will not be open to the public.
The city stated that high winds can create unsafe conditions around outdoor facilities, trees, and temporary installations.
The Loop, the skating trail in LaSalle, is open today however, the warming tent is closed.
