If you have something to say about Windsor's proposed budget, and you want to be heard by city council, you have until noon on Friday to register to be a delegate.
City council will hear from the public on Monday about its spending document for 2026 before possibly approving the budget at its January 26 meeting.
Those interested in appearing can provide written documents or appear in person. They can also request to be heard electronically by contacting Council Services at 519-255-6432.
Written documents can be submitted by emailing clerks@citywindsor.ca. They can also be dropped off at 350 City Hall Square West, room 530.
Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens tabled the budget on December 29 with a zero per cent increase in the tax levy.
The budget includes $233-million for roads and sewers, and $29.2-million for community services.
It also includes increases for some user fees and a proposed hike in Transit Windsor fares from $3.75 to $4.
