You can blame the weather for the City of Windsor extending road closures on the E.C. Row Expressway.
Due to recent weather conditions, crews will continue to be on the expressway cleaning up litter and debris.
The crews are working on cleaning the roadside shoulders between Huron Church Road and Banwell Road. On and off-ramps along that stretch of the E.C. Row will also be cleaned.
Work will typically take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with rolling lane closures in effect.
All efforts will be made to minimize traffic disruptions during rush hour. But, drivers are being asked to slow down and be extra watchful when crews wearing safety vests and protective gear are on the road.
