Home sales in Windsor-Essex have nearly leveled off in March, after a steep decline in February.
The Windsor Essex County Association of Realtors (WECAR), in its March sales report, said home sales in the region fell by 2.49 per cent, compared to March 2025.
There were 352 closed home sales in March, compared to 361 last year.
So far in 2026, home sales in Windsor-Essex are down 6.67 per cent, compared to the first quarter of 2025, with 895 homes sold.
Market activity fell almost by double digits in March, by 9.97 per cent compared to 2025. A total of 939 properties were listed on the market this year, in comparison to 1,043 in March 2025.
The average price of a home in Windsor-Essex County was down by 7.16 per cent last month, to $539,208. The average price in March 2025 was $580,816.
