Tickets on sale for this year's LaSalle Strawberry Festival

LaSalle's longest-running event is coming up fast, and already tickets for the LaSalle Strawberry Festival are on sale.

The four-day festival returns to the Vollmer Recreation Complex from Thursday, June 11, to Sunday, June 14.

In its 38th year, the event continues to celebrate the town's agricultural roots and sense of community. The festival boasts a carnival, fireworks, live musical entertainment, the LaSalle Strawberry Festival Parade, and of course, local strawberries.

"The LaSalle Strawberry Festival is a true celebration of who we are as a community," said Director of Culture and Recreation, Patti Funaro.

Admission is $5 per person, although it’s free for kids aged five and under, and for seniors over the age of 65. A weekend pass can be purchased for $12. Tickets can be purchased online.

With pre-paid tickets, festival-goers can skip the payment line at the festival gates.

An exciting lineup of musical acts is lined up for this year's celebration, including Ultrasonik, which performed for eight seasons as Leave Those Kids Alone, Buck Twenty and Adam Butcher, a 29-year-old country artist from Amherstburg.
