Windsor police were busy on Thursday, with several drivers ticketed for having the alleged need for speed.
Four drivers were cited for stunt driving within four hours in Windsor and Amherstburg.
The first stop was just after 7 p.m. on South Cameron Boulevard near Arcadia Street. A 31-year-old man was ticketed for going 124 kilometres per hour in a 50-kilometre-per-hour zone.
At about the same time, another Windsor officer stopped a 21-year-old man for going 94 kilometres per hour in a 50 zone on Howard Avenue near Logan Avenue.
At about 7:30 p.m., a 20-year-old man was stopped for allegedly going 130 kilometres per hour in an 80 zone on the E.C. Row Expressway near Banwell Road.
Finally, at around 10:45 p.m., officers with the Amherstburg detachment stopped a 31-year-old man for doing donuts in a parking lot on Sandwich Street South near Pickering Street, and almost hit several concrete blocks in the process.
All four drivers have had their licences suspended for 30 days, and their vehicles impounded for 14 days.
