A Windsor man is celebrating after winning $442,843 playing Lottario.
Mamo D says he's been playing the lottery since he arrived in Canada in 1976.
"I thought I'd won $42 until I had my nephew take a closer look," he said while picking up his winnings at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation's headquarters in Toronto recently. "That's when I realized it was much more than $42."
He plans to share his winnings with his family.
The winning ticket was purchased at Esso on Wyandotte Street East in Windsor.
