Provincial police are investigating a fatal crash in Essex.
Officers were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision involving a sedan near Marsh Road Fifth Concession Road at 11:40 p.m. on September 11.
Police said preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was travelling southbound on County Road 15 when it left the roadway and entered a field.
A 39-year-old woman from Essex was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fifth Concession Road remains closed between County Road 11 and Ferriss Road for the on-scene investigation. County Road 15 is also closed between Fifth Concession Road and County Road 18.
