If you live in Windsor's collection Zone A, there will be an additional yard waste collection this week for those who couldn't put storm debris out on the curb in time for yard waste collection.
The special collection is on the regular yard waste collection day, but residents must request pickup by calling 311, going to www.311online.ca, or using the Windsor 311 app to create a Special Yard Waste Collection service request.
Tree branches and other storm-related waste needs to be on the curb no later than midnight on Monday.
Residents are asked to limit branches to no more than 4 feet long, no more than 10 centimetres thick, and no more than 44 lbs or 20 kgs. Branches should also be tied together.
Residents outside Zone A should not register for special pickup, but can put their storm-debris out on their assigned yard waste collection day.
Storm-related tree waste can also be dropped off for free at the City's Public Drop Off Depot on North Service Road.
