A 38-year-old man is facing impaired charges following a traffic stop on Wednesday night.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say an officer was patrolling in Lakeshore when they pulled a driver over on County Road 22 at Commercial Boulevard just before 9:30 p.m.
Following an interaction with the driver, the officer determined that he was allegedly impaired and arrested him.
The Windsor man is charged with impaired driving, driving with excessive blood-alcohol concentration, and a red light violation.
His vehicle was impounded for seven days, and his licence was suspended for 90 days.
The charges have not been proven in court. The suspect will have a chance to respond in a Windsor court on November 3.
