The Municipality of Lakeshore announced that work will begin Monday on the County Road 22 sewer expansion project.
Lane closures and short-term road closures will begin on County Road 22 and surrounding roads as crews conduct field investigations ahead of the sewer expansion.
Work is expected in the following areas.
County Road 22, from east of Rourke Line to east of Old Tecumseh Road
Rourke Line Road, from County Road 22 to Girard Drive
Puce Road, from County Road 22 to Oakwood Avenue
I.C. Roy Drive near Ryan Avenue
Mancini Drive
Poplar Drive
"Some work will also take place within easements and other areas where necessary," said Municipality spokesman Alex Denonville in a media release. "This may include limited ground disturbance, personnel in the area, and temporary access or staging of vehicles and equipment. Work will be limited to what is necessary for the investigations, and disturbed areas will be restored to their existing condition once the work is complete."
All work is expected to be finished by mid-December.
Complete road closure updates will be posted to the Municipal 511 map.
