The Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) held two Top Prospect Games on Saturday.
The North took on the West in Wingham while the South took on the East in Uxbridge.
Friends, family, and scouts were on hand to take in the talent of the 16 and 17-year-old players.
In Wingham, the North Conference prospects defeated the West Conference prospects 4-2.
Jesse Coombs, who regularly plays for the Wingham Ironmen, had a multi-point game with one goal and one assist for the North.
Isaac Nickel, Jacob Jennings, and Logan Burnham also scored for the North.
Dallas Kelly and Everitt Swayze had the goals for the West.
Josh McLean, of the Midland Flyers, also made his presence known with three minor penalties in the game.
In Uxbridge, the East Conference prospects outscored the South Conference prospects by more than double, winning the game 8-3.
Dean Spry, of the Frankford Huskies, was the winning goaltender for the East. He was the only goalie who wasn't scored on, saving eight out of eight shots in his more than 30 minutes on the ice.
Evan Gilbert, of the North Kawartha Knights, and Wyatt Gregory, of the Amherstview Jets, both had two goals and an assist in the game.
The other scorers for the East include Kaiden Whitney, Luke El-Ayari, Nolan Winter, and Dailen Fousek.
Aaron Curtis, Andrew Calderwood, and Gage Butcher all had multi-point games, with two assists each.
Harry Pollard-Dall, of the Paris Titans, was the point leader for the South with a goal and an assist. He also led the South in penalty minutes, serving two minutes for slashing and two minutes for cross-checking.
Simon Otaki and Brendan George also scored for the South.
The PJHL was formed in 2016 and has 63 franchises across the province.
