The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) has named the 20 players who will wear the Maple Leaf at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Team Canada hopes to win its third straight gold medal for the first time since they won five in a row from 2005-09.
Only one player will return from the 2023 winning squad. Owen Beck, from the Peterborough Petes, is the lone veteran player and one of only five Ontario Hockey League (OHL) players to make the team.
Oliver Bonk and Easton Cowan of the London Knights, Owen Allard of the Soo Greyhounds, and Carson Rehkopf of the Kitchener Rangers are the other players representing the OHL for 2024.
One of Cowan's future teammates from the Toronto Maple Leafs will join him, as Fraser Minten of the Saskatoon Blades from the Western Hockey League (WHL) also made the cut.
In addition to the five OHL representatives, there are eight from the WHL and seven from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).

The 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship goes from Boxing Day until January 5 and takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Canada's first game is against Finland at 8:30 a.m. on December 26.
