Students at St. Ursula Catholic School are being challenged to create the new logo for Google.
The technology company put out a contest for students from junior kindergarten to Grade 12, to design a logo for the Google homepage.
Students are to envision what Canada will be like in 150 years and use that idea to create a logo.
Grade 3/4 teacher Tricia VandenEnden brought this "Doodle 4 Google" contest to her classroom for the students to enter in.
"I am very passionate about art, and about science and technology," she says. "When I saw it, I thought 'awesome' my class will love it!"
The design ideas varied a bit in VandenEnden's class. One student, Mary Habakurana says she wanted to include symbols of peace and love into her drawing.
"I put in peace and love because I want that to be there in 150 years," she says. "Right now there isn't so much. There's wars in some countries."

Sharing that same idea of peace was Braxton Ball.
"I picture Canada the way it is now, peaceful and beautiful," he says.
Another student, Dean Rocheleau incorporated the environment into his logo, as well as a futuristic theme. Each letter used to spell out "Google" has a different design, ranging from beaver dams to the earth, and also a robot.
"I picture lots of robots," says Rocheleau. "And I hope lots of environment."
VandenEnden says the students are eager to finish up their designs. Once they're finished (and parents consent to submitting them into the contest) the "doodles" will be sent within the next couple of weeks.
The contest is open until May 2. The winner will have their "doodle" featured on the site for a day, and they'll also get a $10,000 scholarship, a Google Chromebook, and a $10,000 award for their school.
