Construction bucket reported stolen
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips after someone took off with a 2.5-tonne rollout bucket from a property on Queens Line earlier this week.
Police said it's believed the yellow Rockland 5.5-yard bucket was taken sometime between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
It's worth approximately $30,000 and looks similar to the one pictured below.

Suspicious man arrested at VIA Rail station
A 32-year-old Chatham man who was hanging around in the VIA Rail station on Queen Street in Chatham early Friday morning has been arrested.
Police said he was there at around 1 a.m. Friday, which is a violation of his daily curfew of 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The accused was arrested, charged with failing to comply with his release conditions, and taken into custody pending a bail hearing.

Dumpster diver arrested in Chatham
A 50-year-old Chatham man is facing charges after he was allegedly caught trespassing in a dumpster behind a local business Thursday afternoon.
Police said they found the man in the dumpster while they were responding to a report of a suspicious man around a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Officers said he was charged with trespassing, adding that when they searched him, they also allegedly found some suspected methamphetamine in his possession.
He was charged accordingly and later released with a future court date.

Assault charges laid after dispute between brothers gets physical
A 29-year-old Chatham man is facing four assault-related charges after an argument between two brothers in Chatham turned violent.
Police said that they were called to the residence Thursday night, adding that their investigation showed that the argument escalated into a "physical altercation" involving a door frame, a broom, and a computer chair.
Only minor injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The accused was charged with one count of assault and three counts of assault with a weapon and was later released pending a future court date.

Dispute at local motel leads to wanted woman's arrest
A 41-year-old Chatham woman who was wanted for fraud-related offences and failing to comply with her release conditions has been arrested.
Police said they found her while they were responding to a domestic dispute call at a local motel in Chatham Thursday afternoon.
Officers said the woman was taken into custody pending a bail hearing and then remanded into custody until December 21, 2020.
