Verbal dispute leads to vehicle collision, multiple charges
A man who allegedly pulled a knife in a verbal argument following a car crash is now facing multiple charges.
Chatham-Kent police said the man was involved in a dispute on Park Avenue in Chatham on Saturday and when the man went to leave the area, he got into a collision.
The man then continued to the area of Riverview Drive where the dispute proceeded.
Police said the man pulled a knife and took keys to another vehicle. The man was followed by police to an apartment and placed him under arrest.
The man was held for bail on charges of assault, robbery, and weapons dangerous.

Driving complaint leads police to impaired driver
A 55-year-old Chatham is facing an impaired driving charge following complaints about driving erratically.
Chatham-Kent police say they received calls about a truck driving all over the road and almost hitting several vehicles.
Police located the truck south of Morpeth in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and placed the driver under arrest.
The driver was transported to police headquarters where he was found to be two and a half times about the legal limit of alcohol.
He was released with a future court date on August 24.

Man arrested after causing a disturbance in Wallaceburg
A man has been arrested for being found to be throwing recycling bins all over the road on King Street in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent police placed the man under arrest for mischief and transported him to headquarters.
Police said the man was currently on a release for mischief one week earlier and has been held for bail.
