Man wanted for uttering threats turns himself in
A 46-year-old man accused of threatening his girlfriend has been arrested and charged after he turned himself in at police headquarters in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent police said they got involved in the matter when they were called to a domestic dispute in Chatham on Sunday.
Officers said by the time they arrived, the man who had allegedly threatened to harm his girlfriend and damage her property had already left.
He turned himself in over the noon hour on Tuesday and was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats.
He was later released with conditions and a future court date.

Woman arrested on warrants
Chatham-Kent police have caught up with a local 38-year-old woman who was wanted for break and enter and failing to attend court.
Police said they found her just after noon on Tuesday while they were following up on a call about a suspicious person in the parking lot of a business on King Street West in Chatham.
Officers said the Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was set to be held pending a bail hearing.

Two more arrests on outstanding warrants
Chatham-Kent police also managed to track down two more people overnight who were wanted on warrants.
Officers said they arrested a man at around 12:43 a.m. Wednesday who was wanted on a Surety Relief Warrant while they were following up on a complaint about a suspicious on Talbot Trail in Harwich Township.
He was taken to the Southwest Regional Detention Center.
A 17-year-old Chatham youth was also arrested overnight, at around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, after police went to check on her well-being while she was walking on Wellington Street East in Chatham.
Officers said the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant, so she was arrested, charged, and released with a future court date.
