Man arrested on multiple charges

Police were notified of a possible bail violation on Friday through GPS monitoring tampering.

Shortly after the notification a 911 call was received from an address in Charing Cross.

A 43-year-old man, who is the suspect of the GPS monitor, was acting disruptive in his residence.

Police said the man assaulted two other people and then broke a window and then fled. Responding officers quickly located the man and arrested him.

He was charged with two counts of assault, mischief under $5000 and two counts of fail to comply with a probation order.

The man was held for bail.

Man arrested for impaired driving

Police responded to a single-vehicle collision in Raleigh Township. A vehicle left the road and struck three trees before coming to a stop.

Police identified the driver as a 73-year-old Leamington man and believed he was impaired by alcohol and taken to police headquarters.

After he provided breath samples he was found to be over the legal limit.

He was arrested for impaired driving and faces an additional charge of over 80.

The man was released when sober pending a future court date.
