London police say a man is facing charges after allegedly making four bogus 911 calls.
Police say they went to a home on Wharncliffe Rd. around 7:30pm Sunday after a man called 911 to say several people, armed with weapons, came into the home. About 45 minutes later, they were called to the same home when a 911 call indicated the armed people had returned.
Investigators determined there had been no armed people at the home and that the calls were false.
Early Monday morning, police responded to a business on Wellington Rd. after a man called 911 to say people with weapons had entered the business. A similar call was made a short time later, sending officers to a business on Wharncliffe Rd. S.
Again, investigators determined these were bogus 911 calls.
Police have arrested a 33-year-old man. He's charged with four counts of public mischief.
