Walkerton 4 Kincardine 2
Walkerton scored twice in the third period to beat Kincardine 4-2 and win their PJHL Pollock Division Semifinal series in six games.
Ryan Shaw led the Hawks offense with a pair of goals including a power play goal early in the second and an empty netter in the final minute of the game.
Brett Burrows opened the scoring for the Bulldogs, giving them a 1-0 lead heading into the second. Shaw's first goal tied the game and Chris RolfVonDenBauman gave the Hawks the lead with a power play goal at 12:20 of the middle frame. Mike Fiegehen scored for Kincardine to tie the game heading into the third.
Brendan Welsh's unassisted goal at 17:33 of the third would stand as the game winner.
The Hawks now face the Mount Forest Patriots in the division final.
Dorchester 4 Exeter 2
The Exeter Hawks are facing elimination from the Yeck Division Semifinals after falling 4-2 to Dorchester in Game 3.
Christian Petrozza scored back-to-back goals in the second - once on the power play, the other short handed an unassisted - to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead. It was short lived. Dylan Buckholtz put the Dolphins on the board before the period was over, making it 2-1 Exeter heading into the third.
Lucas Wilson and Nolan Blewett scored less than a minute-and-a-half apart to put Dorchester up 3-2. Blewett scored again on an empty Hawks net in the final minute of play to give the Dolphins insurance.
Game 4 is Thursday, March 1st in Dorchester.
