Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash near Ethel this morning.
Huron County OPP officers, Perth County Paramedics and Grey Township fire fighters responded to a head on collision between a school bus and a minivan at about 7:40 a.m.
The crash took the life of 36-year-old Daniel Karpyshyn of Vanastra, the driver and lone occupant in the minivan.
Officers closed McNaught Line south of Cranbrook road while they investigated the crash. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place tomorrow. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
The driver and /lone occupant of the school bus was treated and released from hospital with minor injuries.
McNaught Line (Huron County Road #19) re-opened for travel at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Huron OPP are investigating a fatal collision between a minivan and a school bus.
Police say the vehicles collided on McNaught Line south of Cranbrook Road near Ethel around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday.
In a release, OPP say the preliminary investigation indicates the school bus was northbound on McNaught Line when it collided head-on with a southbound minivan.
The driver of the minivan died at the scene. The driver of the school bus was taken to hospital with minor injuries. There were no students on the bus at the time.
The name of the deceased is being withheld until their family can be notified.
The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team is assisting with the investigation. McNaught Line will be closed between St. Michael's Road and Cranbrook Road for several hours.
