A crash last week in Huron East has claimed the life of one of the drivers.
Huron OPP officers, Huron County paramedics, and Huron East firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, on North Line near Hydro Line Road.
A passenger vehicle and a pickup truck were found severely damaged. The pickup driver was treated for minor injuries, but the driver of the sedan suffered grave injuries and was airlifted to a London hospital.
The OPP reported on Thursday evening that the 84-year-old driver passed away on Friday, February 20.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated. The name of the deceased driver has not been released.
