Bruce Power is inviting the public to attend a virtual information session on the Bruce C Project on Tuesday night.
The virtual livestream will take place on August 4 starting at 7 p.m. and it will "provide an update on what Bruce Power has heard through the Impact Statement phase of the Impact Assessment process for the Bruce C Project, along with upcoming key project milestones," a release from Bruce Power stated.
The statement goes on to add that Bruce Power "believes meaningful dialogue is an important part of planning for Ontario’s energy future." With that in mind, the virtual community information session, hosted by James Scongack, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President, will provide more insight into future nuclear power generation opportunities at Bruce Power.
Registration for the session is required. That can be done here: https://app.vvc.live/register/livestream/jGwaHDIHS9zYkfR7
"The Bruce C Project represents an important opportunity to support Ontario’s long-term energy needs," Scongack said. "We are committed to keeping communities informed as the project progresses and welcome the opportunity to discuss the latest developments during the livestream."
