Improvements To Durham Ball Parks Showcased This Weekend

The hard work of Durham Minor Softball will be showcased Saturday.

It's Baseball Day in Durham.

Volunteers with the Diamond Project have been working since April to reviatlize the park.

That includes improvements to the infields, covered dugouts, warning tracks in the outfield and landscaping, which included the planting of 30 maple trees.

Baseball Day in Durham will feature a full day of games on Saturday starting at 9:30am with the ceremony at 4:00pm.

And the Durham Dodgers will play Wiarton at 6pm in a Bluewater Fastball game to cap the day.
