A motel room break-in eventually led Windsor police to a large meth bust totaling more than $14,000.
Early Friday morning Windsor police were called to a motel on Sandwich St. near Watkins St. for a reported break and enter in progress.
The caller told police a female was getting in through a window.
When officers arrived they knocked on the door and discovered a man and woman inside. The male was arrested on an outstanding breach of probation warrant.
In plain view, police say they observed several syringes, a digital scale, a glass pipe and a baggie of meth. The female was then arrested.
Police came back that afternoon and executed a search warrant where they found a total of 72.6g of meth with an estimated street value of $14,520.
Officials also say there's evidence linking the room to another male.
A 29-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both of Windsor, have been charged with possession of meth with the purpose of trafficking.
A 46-year-old Windsor man is to be summoned in relation to similar charges.
