Canada-wide arrest warrant issued for attempted murder suspect

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man wanted in connection to an attempted murder in Windsor.

The shooting happened on February 27, 2021 on Downing Street. One person, Nathaniel Krug, has already been arrested and charged.

The Windsor Police Service is still looking for Robert Labrecque in relation to the incident. Officers believe he has left the area. He is known to have ties in Montreal and it is believed he was in the London area within days of the incident.

Investigators are requesting people be on the lookout for two vehicles associated with the suspect. A silver, four-door 2006 Chrysler 300 with the Ontario license plate CRRK 714 and a red, four-door 2010 Jeep Patriot with the Ontario license plate CCRTW 688.

Labrecque is a 20-year-old white man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is around 5'5" with a slender build and has several tattoos including 2000 across his fingers, a compass on his left hand, a navy crest and skull on his left forearm, and a dragon with flames on the left side of his neck.

Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
