Police officers on patrol in downtown Windsor arrested and charged a man with drug trafficking.
Around 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Windsor Police City Centre Patrol officers saw a man on Wyandotte Street East who they believed was the subject of an arrest warrant.
Officers confirmed the man’s identity and he was arrested without incident. Officers seized drugs and money as part of their investigation.
Joseph Smith, 50, is charged with three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (grey fentanyl, teal fentanyl, and methamphetamine). The charges have not been proven in court.
