Windsor police are looking for two people who may be connected to an attack Thursday night that sent a man to hospital.
Through investigation, police now believe one of the suspects is a male youth and have therefore removed all photos of him from public view.
Police were called around 7 p.m. to a parking lot on Sandwich Street near Watkins Street in west Windsor. When officers arrived, they found a man with multiple stab wounds. The victim was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects ran from the scene before police arrived before reportedly getting into a silver-coloured, newer model sedan, according to Constable Talya Natyshak.
Investigators found out that the attack was the continuation of a fight earlier that afternoon in the food court at Devonshire Mall. The suspects and victim were also believed to have had a confrontation outside the mall, and they do not appear to know each other.
Police are asking businesses within the mall, and anyone living near the Sandwich Towne stabbing, to check any security cameras for footage that may help investigators. Images of the suspect were released on Friday and can be seen above.
The first suspect is described as a white male youth between the ages of 15-18, slender build, and clean-shaven. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a black "Champion" hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black running shoes, and a surgical mask during the stabbing incident.
The second suspect is described as a White male in his early 20s, wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants and black shoes.
Police believe that more people may have been involved. The weapon has not been recovered, so the suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
